Because I am lazy, and because I am trying to finish a novel by November 30, here is the Spider-Man 3 Trailer released a day or two ago:

Man, this thing looks SO awesome. I haven't been looking forward to pretty much any movies this year, but next year looks like it has much better prospects. The Spider-Man 3 trailer, in particular, just oozes with quality. It just looks so classic - you've got Spider-Man seeking vengeance on the Sandman, while Harry Osborn seeks vengeance on Spider-Man. Throw in the possibility of a vengeance-seeking Venom, and you've got your theme right there. What you've also got is a pretty full movie, with at least two major villains (and most likely a third), but at the running time I've heard (about 2 hours 30 minutes) I don't think it will be a problem. It helps that the Sandman looks to be the most accurate visual interpretation of a comics villain yet seen in a film. The guy looks like he stepped right out of a Ditko comic.
I'm tipping it now - this will be the first superhero franchise to get a decent third movie.

Still going to see 300 first though. I can remember the original movie, and I am glad they put my favourite line in there.
